Me & DH can't decide on anything. He doesn't like the name I like and I'm not a fan of the names he's picked out! The MN, Cory, has to stay. His life long best friend died a few years ago of cancer so that is in remembrance on him. Here are our choices!
Mason Cory (My favorite)
Micah Cory (His pick)
Jaxson Cory (We both like but now I don't think I like it because I don't want people to call him Jack for short, Weird I know!) TIA
Re: I need opinions on Boy Names!!!!
Yes, I have taken that into thought!!!! Alot of people think it's cute but i'm not to sure. but Gracen means "Son of Grace" and jaxson means "Son of Jack" and that annoyed me worse than them rhyming
This!! My initial thought was Mason all the way, but not with Gracen. If you don't like Jack you can start calling him Jax and that will catch on, unless you don't like that either. In that case, I would go with Micah.
Jaxson is bad. But, even if you spelled it Jackson, you probably shouldn't use it if you don't like Jack.
If your daughter's name is Gracen, the best option of the three is Micah. But if you don't like Micah, you should just come up with a brand new one.
i have a mexican last name so anything goes with it. If we go with Mason, he'll sound like a baseball player. & i don't want people thinking I named him jakcson after Micheal Jackson.
I like Mason Cory, but I agree with the PP who was concerned about it rhyming with your daughter's name.
I also like Jackson Cory, but I don't like the the unconventional spelling of Jaxson. I think calling him Jack or even Jax for short would be cute, though.
This. I don't like the rhyming names, but I love Mason. I also like Micah a lot. I don't like Jaxson at all. It sounds like a made up spelling for Jackson (which I like).
On it's own I like Mason Cory the best. But since your daughter is Gracen... I don't know. Mason & Gracen is very cutesy.
Micah Cory is okay. NMS.
Jaxson Cory.... JACKSON Cory doesn't bother me. Jaxson is a horrid spelling and just is plain ugly. Please reconsider the "xs" combo in the middle.
I have met several Jacksons in my life and never once did I EVER think they were named after Michael Jackson. I think you are overthinking that.
I like Micah.
I like Jaxson but I'd spell it the traditional way as well. I'm using a boy's name that can be shortened and while I don't mind it, I won't be calling my son by that nn.
Mason reminds me of Perry Mason or a mason worker, nms. and Micah? I don't know, I'm not feeling that either.

This! I'm not a fan of the rhyming siblings.
Unfortunately, as your son gets older, you have very little control of what nickname he may get. His friends may call him Jax or Jack, which if he doesn't mind it, then that is fine. My husband's nickname(which has stuck, and most people only know him by his nickname) has no resemblance to what his given name is. I'm sure his mother didn't plan it that way, but it stuck and is great.
I don't like alternative spellings, and I'm not a fan of siblings having rhyming names. I love the name Micah(I had a friend in high school, and rarely did anyone call him "Mike"). I have an Uncle Michael, and his nickname is "Mick". I'm not sure how that came about:)
Naming a child is soo difficult. You can take any of our opinions with a grain of salt, though, since it is your son:)
