My LO sleeps a ton better swaddled, but she's starting to break loose and waking up earIier. I was thinking of buying the Miracle blanket or the Aden + Anais blankets since they are bigger. Anyone know when they shouldn't be swaddled anymore?
I was wondering the same thing. We use the miracle blanket and it works great so far. She does get her feet out of it but it holds her arms in perfectly!
I would guess the swaddling should stop anywhere from 2-4 months depending on your LO. We use the swaddle me's and velcro them super tight for night time. During the day if Sophie is restless I use my Aiden + Anais for a lighter swaddle--and the fact that they are bigger does help a lot. I tried the miracle blanket when she was newborn and wasnt a fan, however I think it would work a lot better now. What are you using now?
We use Aden&Anais swaddling blankets and love them! We swaddled Natalie until she was 8 months (from the armpits down).... we just waited until she didn't want to be swaddled anymore... there's really no rush....
We're using regular old receiving blankets, but she's really big now so I can tell they aren't really working anymore. She's 25 inches long, so she's always bustin out her feet first! I was thinking of the Aden + Anais because they're light weight and it's so hot here, not to mention that maybe they'd wrap around her body a little bit more?

Definitely, go get them. You can always take them back if you don't like but I think you will:-)

I LOVE the aden and anais blankets... we just bought a blue set for our new baby boy (that isn't here yet!). They are definitely big enough and will last a long time!!! Don't worry so much when to stop:)
We thought DD didn't want to be swaddled anymore b/c she kept breaking out of them. Last night we tried not swaddling and it was a disaster! I just think my swaddling sucks! We'll probably try not swaddling when she's a little older...maybe 3-4 months.
