recommend your burp cloths

With DD I just used the gerber ones, but they were terrible and would soak through even with the smallest amount of spit up. They were only good for wiping her mouth. What do you ladies recommend for an over the shoulder burp cloth. I think the consensus is to get cloth diaper pre-folds, but I'm not sure. Thanks!

A friend made some for us out of flanel and they are THE BEST! My mother bought us bibs that close on the side (instead of the back) and DD loves them.

DH picked up a pack of 4 at Target when I was still in the hospital. I'm not sure what brand they are but they have pink and blue designs. They look like something Circo makes. They're thick enough in the middle and still have pretty thick fabric on the outside.

Cloth diapers. I use them as extra protection on the changing table too, although I keep the ones we use for the changing table separate from the ones we use as burp cloths.

if you know someone crafty, use the prefold cloth diapers and put some cute material over the middle part. I did it and it took me probably a few hours per dozen. totally worth it
