It's official I'm insane

After being up all night with middle of the night sickness followed by a puppy who has had extreme levels of energy since 5:30 this morning has led me to be a bit insane.  I SWEAR there is something in the duct work or the attic or something making noise and I definately keep yelling at the walls.  As though yelling at my house is going to make it shut up.

I've even thought about going into the attic to yell at whatever it is making that freakin noise all the darn time but we have loose insulation up there from the previous owner so it's not a good idea.  But yelling at the walls probably isn't either.

    I'm insane as well...I woke up at 6 this morning and wanted to yell at DH's fan, which I swear was squeaking!!

    Logic tells me it's probably the metal expanding and contracting but our AC and heating are not the same unit.  The heat comes from floor registers, the AC from ceiling vents (yes I know this makes no sense, hardware stores think I'm an idiot when I go buy two different size filters but it's true - we can run our heat and AC at the same time)...  and it's the heat ducts that are making all the noise... ARRGGGG!

    When I was pg the first time, I would wake up at 4am every night because in our spare bedroom there was a digital watch alarm that would go off.  After about a week of being annoyed, I woke up DH and told him to find it and destroy it.  It took him 3 nights to find the damn watch because it would stop beeping before he found it.

    So I might not have been nuts -- we went over to my parents for dinner and came home to find a puddle on the floor and water "stains" on the ceiling.  The water pan for the A/C was full and wasn't draining so the clicking, popping, loud noises I heard was likely the pan trying to drain!  Yeah for still being semi-sane.  Though I don't know if that excuses yelling at the walls -- ahh tomato, tomaaatoe
