Probably depends a bit on the experience you want to have... are you more concerned with success rates/statistics or having a more personal relationship with your doctor?
A number of ladies here (including myself) have used Shady Grove Fertility, but they are a very large practice. I'm in MD so I'm not sure exactly where the VA offices are, but I would highly recommend the practice overall.
I second Shady Grove. Shady Grove was a wonderful experience for me. I went to the Fair Oaks office for monitoring and Dr. Browne there was wonderful. All the procedures are done in Rockville and the people I had contact there were very nice too!

I use Dr. K at Genetics and IVF Institute in Fairfax. She is super. I went from a solo practice where I was supposedly receiving personal service to Dr. K and it has been a great experience. At each appointment I have had so far, she has spent more than an hour with me and my DH in order to make sure all of our questions were answered.
Shady Grove grad too. I used Dr. Widra in the DC office. Loved him. I do however recommend you stay away from Dominion Fertility. Ugh too long of a story but not a good place.
I used Dominion Fertility in Arlington. My personal Dr. was Dr. DiMattina, but I also had Dr. Gordon do a few procedures and I really liked them both. It's just those two Dr.s in the office and you see the same nurses every time.
I'm a Shady Grove grad and fan as well. I went to the Leesburg office with Dr. Kahn. He was great, and the nurses were fabulous. I also had to go to the Rockville office from time to time because of weekend hours and certain tests, and they were great too. I've never heard a bad report from anyone who has used Shady Grove.
I went to Metro Fertility Clinic in Kingstowne...Dr. Nancy Durso...I loved the staff and was high risk, ama, etc...two ivf's the second round worked....I understand they have merged but google Dr. Durso...love her.
