I actually used to post on TTCAL and have just been taking a break for a few months. My H and I have been TTCAL for about 8 months now! Here's my re-intro with some new info.
Back in 2008 I was diagnosed with a clotting disorder--Factor V Leiden-- I never had any clots myself (my brother actually did) after that I was switched to progesterone only BC pills and started on baby aspirin daily and told when I became pregnant I would just be put on lovenox injections.
I went off BCP in August 2009 and I had my first m/c in Nov. 2009, (it was technically a CP I just hate that term). I didn't start the lovenox until after I had already had some spotting. After the m/c my dr told me the next time I get a positive HPT to just go ahead and start the Lovenox and then go in for b/w.
So this is what I did in May, however it didn't make a difference. I had another CP. And they found that my progesterone was really low (I believe 1.4!!) I had just started seeing a RE before the pg and loss, so she agreed to go ahead and do the whole RPL panel. The only new thing they found was Antiphospholipid syndrome (another clotting disorder).
So our new plan of action is to use OPK's and 3 days after I have my LH surge I will go ahead and start Heparin injections twice a day (not lovenox) and progesterone suppositories three times a day!!
I've had a really hard time with all of this! It just sucks so bad that I have to start all of this crap before I even know if I'm pg!! And to add to it my great grandfather, who I was very close to, passed away 2 weeks ago and my 1st EDD was today!! In the end I know I'm lucky to know what's wrong and have a plan to fix it!
