Has your LO noticed them yet? It seems just in the last day or two DS is really watching the cats now. One of my cats is a licker so she licked him this morning (she doesn't do it every day but she's done it a ton in the last 3 months) and he laughed so hard when she licked him... then I noticed he watched them if they enter his line of sight and he turns his head to follow them. they were play fighting today and it made him laugh. I wonder what he thinks they are! lol
Re: If you have a dog/cat
L noticed one of the dogs last week. He was smelling her like usual and she reached out to touch him. He rewarded her with a tiny kiss.
She's been tracking the other two around the room too.

We had 22 but now we have only 4. (yumm) I love them. they are really fun to watch and nothing beats the fresh eggs and meat.
This is a picture of the coop we designed and built. It was pretty fun.

Definitely! Especially when she's in the bumbo on the floor. They sniff her head. Plus, one of our dogs is black and white, so he's got nice contrast for baby eyes.
She's far more interested in watching her big sister than the dogs, though.

Within the past couple of weeks DD has really started to notice the dog. Anytime the dog comes near her, she erupts in big belly laughs.
Henry started noticing the cats at around 4 months- he gets so excited to see them! Luckily, one of the four likes him, too.
DD just started noticing our cat last week. She's all about tracking movement (you should see her in a restaurant), and she watches him as soon as he walks in the room.
I think he's noticing that she's noticing him. He still gives her a wide berth.
