I don't know if you will think this is overly involved but it's an old family recipe that i have loved forever. Any fruit will work in it. Hope it works!
For biscuit topper, sift together 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour, 2
tablespoons sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Cut in 1/4 cup butter till mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Combine
1/4 cup milk and 1 slightly beaten egg. Add all at once to dry
ingredients, stirring just to moisten. Set aside.
Blackberry: Combine in a Cooking Pot - 1 Cup sugar, 2 Tablespoons
cornstarch, 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1 T each water and butter,
and 4 cups fruit ( I use the frozen blackberries). Stir while coming to
a boil. Cook for 1 min.
Pour Filling into a 7x9 or 9x11 (if you have doubled the recpie).
Spoon on the biscuit topper in mounds (6 or so). Bake at 400 degrees
for 20-25 minutes. Serve warm with cream or ice cream. Makes 6 servings.
Re: looking for a blueberry crip or cobbler recipe
This one is really simple and I'm sure you could sub all blueberries if you didn't want to use the other mix of berries.

From one of my favorite blogs. I haven't made it myself but when she posted this last week I thought it looked so yummy!
