Just curious when everybody delivered their prior LOs? DS was born at 40w6d. I'm really wondering if I'll go around that time or later this time around as well.
DS born via c/s 11/08 and med-free GD VBAC DD 3/11!
I had to be induced because they were worried about DD after a BPP at my 35 week appt. She did not want to budge so after a long induction, she was born just a few hours shy of 37 weeks. I hope and pray that I can go into labor naturally this time.
I have had 3 actual live births. The first was born at 38wks, but he had a different dad then my others.(I dont mention him usually bc I gave him for adoption to a family who cant have kids I was 19) my 2nd was 2 days early, but I was induced bc I was showing signs of Preclampsia, and baby #3 she was at 41 wks. I was dying to have her bc I was SO sick of being pregnant!
But doctors have told me that different dads can make a difference but If I look back to like my grandma who had 8 kids with my grandpa, they all were differnt, since it was back when inducing wasnt really a possiblity I know one of my aunts was born 4wks overdue. And my mom was 2 wks, the rest were right on time within a wk or so of their due dates.
DS was born at 37w5d and boy was I happy he came "early". I was wondering the same thing, if this one will come early too. My luck he/she will be late. haha

After going into preterm labor (which they were able to stop) with DS, he ended up being 3 days late. I was induced 8 days early with DD due to her size at 36 weeks (DS was 9lbs and I had a few complications) so my OB has already said they will be doing an u/s with this one at 36 weeks and depending on size, they will probably induce me a week early again. DD was still 8 lbs. 8.9 oz. I have heard that with each birth, you are more likely to go sooner and deliver quicker but that may be just a wives tale.
I did get induced at 40w exactly b/c of hypertension, but after 3 nights/4 days of failed induction and my bp coming down and proteins OK (I blame my MIL, but that's another story!) they allowed me to go home. I went into labor on my own a couple days later at 40w5d. I didn't mind go past my EDD, but the induction was a bit of a kill joy!

My son was born 15 days past his due date, but we were in the UK and they don't induce you until you are exactly 2 weeks overdue (if there are no problems)

1 day before her due date... but it was a c-section after 2 (yep 2) failed inductions due to high blood pressure.
4 losses (cp Feb 28 09, mc April 9 09 (5w5d), mc Aug 10 09 (7w1d), d&c Apr 12 10 (grew to 6w3d, mc confirmed at 8w5d).

Andrea, my midwives' office is similar. They won't even start the discussion on induction until 10 days past EDD (not the date that they set to induce, but just the discussion). Of course things changed for me and it will be interesting to see how that is this time around with a VBAC.

DS was born at 30 weeks... My doctor told me I had too much amniotic fluid and was at risk for preterm labor, 5 days before I went into labor. Not exactly much time to prep for early labor. She also said that I really shouldn't worry too much about that because it probably wouldn't happen. Really? Is that so? Ha ha.... This baby definitely needs to cook longer.
41w1d. They induced me. It didn't turn out well. He didn't want to come out (his heart rate kept going down), and I had to have a c-section. I'm hoping for a vbac and no induction.

My dd was born 3 days after her due date so 40 wseeks and 3 days. I was induced other wise she would have stayed in there much longer. However, I did have an easy labor and delivery. I hope this one is the same:)
My DD was born at 39w3d but I was induced. My cervix was still high and tight and she was measuring a little small so they decided it would probably be safer for her to be out than to stay in. She was born weighing 5lbs 13ozs.

Why am I drawing a big blank on BPP?
