He has been super fussy cutting his last first tooth but its really cute when he wants some snuggles and says "Moma, Moma". Makes me feel good.

One of my bff's bachelorette party in San Fran! Very excited!!
1. Name one thing dc did this week that was super cute? Last night after I gave DS a bath, he was lying on his changing table wrapped in a towel. We've played peek-a-boo with him before, but this was the first time he took control of the covering and uncovering his face, which he was doing with the towel. So cute!
2. Aw about yourself I am doing really well in my quest to cut out unnecessary shopping. It's very satisfying to log into my mint account and see that the totals for "clothing" and "retail" categories of my budget are $0.
3. Whats on tap for this weekend? Golf lessons (DH is excited I am doing this!) and then a baby shower on Saturday; "swim" lesson for DS on Sunday and then curtain fabric shopping.
1) He blew me a kiss and then "screwed it on" so that it wouldn't fall off.

Sweetie! did you go to mommy boot camp? Even if you didnt make it out this week, the fact that you are committed to going is an AW. And Im sure on sunday morning you still got up and were the super mom you are everyday, even though we were all exhausted!

2. Aw about yourself: I let DH sleep in today for the 2nd time since he was laid off, meanwhile I have slept in almost everyday!

1. Name one thing dc did this week that was super cute? She stole my water bottle as her own during dinner, so I reached over to drink Brandon?s soda when she said, very authoritatively and as if she was giving me Information: ?No Mommy! That Daddy?s agua! That ew!? This is particularly funny because... she normally doesn't talk much at all.
2. Aw about yourself. I'm working on an application at work and having fun doing it. I don't care if it's completely tossed away.
3. Whats on tap for this weekend? Be jealous: Saturday is chore day (DH and I will switch off doing things we need to do), Sunday is fun (aka more chore) day. :P

3. Whats on tap for this weekend? Bunco tonight! DH and I have Monday and Tuesday off too, so the plan to to just have a staycation of sorts, maybe go to the Oakland Zoo.

DS had his 5 month pictures this week and I seriously could not have bought a cuter, more smiley baby.
It was one of those moments when the stars align and you picked the perfect day to have pictures taken. Made Mama smiley too.

Headed to the folks house for a family visit. Should be a good time.

This morning she climbed up in bed with me. On of our cats was sleeping on the bed, too. M laid down next to her face-to-face, said "sleep", put her arm around the cat, closed her eyes, and snuggled the kitty for a little while. *melt!*
2. Aw about yourself I've been extremely money-careful, spent tons of time on detailed budgets, and have made some tough choices to cut costs. It absolutely AMAZES me the tiny amount of money we're living on right now. lol.
3. Whats on tap for this weekend? I think we are going to check out that strawberry patch Ava raved about! It sounds like so much fun and I'd love to get some cute photos like she did.

DS is spending the night at Gramma's tonight so we can clean and organize the garage/house/life. No way to get it all done but it will be a start. Then tomorrow we are going to drive down to meet him and stay over too. We're planning to go out for pancakes Sunday and then go to my niece's 4th birthday party. Sunday afternoon we may try to hit the free Silcon Valley Symphony performance at SJSU -- 5:30 pm with free ice cream!

He has done a lot of cute things lately. I especially love it when he says I love you without being prompted. The other day we got home from our trip and I said I had to work the next day. He said "No mommy you stay here, I miss you sooo much." broke my heart and made me smile all in one swoop.

So hard to do huh? I am happy with myself on a project I am doing at work.

1. Name one thing dc did this week that was super cute? I don't have a dc yet, so I'll tell something one of my cats did. This morning while in the shower, she hopped up onto the toilet next to the shower and waited for me to finish. Then she followed me all through the house and wouldn't leave me alone.
2. Aw about yourself I spent a total of $20 at the farmers market this week and got TONS of fresh veggies that I can't wait to cook.
3. Whats on tap for this weekend? State Fair with my cousin, her husband and their two boys. I'm sorry I'll be missing Bunco tonight. If anyone is willing to give me the info, I'd still like to donate to the fundraiser for MrsWright.

1. Name one thing dc did this week that was super cute? She is super into dinosaurs right now and ran around the house growling and saying "I'm a tyranosaurus rex and I'm a MEAT EATER!" (probably spelled that wrong - sorry) and then asked me to tell her all about predators. I'm going to need to buy myself a book about dinosaurs...
