Places to eat near Forest Park?

We will be taking a road trip from KC to STL at the end of September. We are going to be at Forest Park one day and I would love food rec's for near there. DD will be 18 months old. Thanks!

    The Boat House in Forest Park is a great place. It's reasonably priced and has a great atmosphere. It's probably one of my favorite places. And in September it should be beautiful!

    On the right you can search for a restaurant.  Look in Forest Park/Forest Park Southeast, Central West End and The Hill.  The Hill has amazing Italian food.

    I just ate at The Boathouse yesterday.  Always a favorite, although sadly I got something new this time and was disappointed. (I do not recommend the Black Bean Burger there.  The fish and chips rock my FACE off though!)

    As for the Hill (as noted by previously poster) I LOVE Favazza's (all Italian) or Guido's (Italian/Spanish, complete with tapas).  Either one is reasonably priced and super tasty.

    The Boathouse is great and its right in Forest Park on one of the lakes and they have outside seating which is nice.  Another option in Forest Park is at the Missouri History Museum.  Up on the second floor there is a resturant with some good options.  I don't see a kids menu online but I'm sure they whip something up.

    If you decide to go anywhere on the hill go to Adriana's. YUM!  They are only open for lunch.  The house salad is one of my favorites and their pasta is awesome.

    I would also recommend the boathouse. They have outdoor seating so you can eat right next to the water if you like. Your daughter would probably love the ducks that are out on the lake. They're very friendly and will come right over to be fed. The day we were there one of the ducks was walking from table to table.

    not in forest park but today my mom and I took my ds (17 mos) to the zoo in forest park then about 10 min from there in the delmar loop is Jilly's cupcake bar, wonderful lunch and awesome cupcakes! they have a website:
