Sigh.. puke and poops

What is the rules with pooping and puking? Do you still give the special electrolyte water? (why can't I remember the name?) instead of formula and keep a close eye out for dehydration? Liam has been lighting it at both ends for over 24 hours and its breaking my heart. Today he has only eaten about 10 ounces most of which he threw up.

No worries bumpies, I have already put in a call to the nurse line, I am just sitting here holding a sick baby looking for answers. Crying

And yes, if he's not keeping formula down, you should try and give him a few ounces of Pedialyte.

Evelyn had this bug last week, it was heartbreaking.

You could add some pedialyte to the formula. Atleast he will be getting something. Also you could possibly do a mini version of the brat diet with lots of rice cereal, and banana's.

The nurse finally called me back. I have an action plan for the next 24hours but if he is still puking tomorrow they wont do his barium swallow monday
