How much cheaper is Target?

Is it a substantial savings to use the Target brand formula over Enfamil?  And do I need to ask my pedi before doing this?

    Target "Enfamil Lipil" brand is $11.89 at my store for the GIANT powdered can.  The regular Enfamil Lipil is $27.99.

    Wow, OK so it is a huge savings.  That is great news, I will definitely mention it to my pedi on Wednesday, but from what I've heard there is most likely no reason he would have a problem with it.  That will help us out a lot.

    Yes, Target brand is a lot cheaper than the name brand.  If you have a Sam's close they are even cheaper.  You can get a 3 pound can for the same price as a regular sized Enfamil can.  We had no problems switching DS to generic.
