I finished my assignment for class and was playing around on the internet, did a search for "Baby Doctor" and came up with all sorts of adorable baby scrubs. I want to get the little scrubs with personalization and give them to DH as a "gift" and tell him when he opens them. His crazy shift work has been a factor in our ttc and he's worried he won't be at important pre-natal appointments so I thought it would be a nice way to show he's involved.
What ideas do you have for telling DH about the BFP?
Re: How will you tell DH?
This something that I think about sometimes but nothing good has come to me yet.
I'll probably think of something when the time comes.
He's a HUGE Dallas Cowboys fan and I thought about getting some little Cowboys onsie or something. But I'll probably end up just running out of the bathroom yelling "Woo hoo! We're having a baby!"
In the past I have just waved a pee stick in his face and squealed, but this time I think I'm just going to surprise him by letting him figure it out on his own as my belly grows.
I bought a "baby's 1st Dodger shirt" months ago (which now haunts me) so i will wrap that up and I also bought a plain tshirt and iron-on printing paper so i can make DS a shirt that says "Big brother" and he can go to my DH and give him the gift wearing the shirt.
I will not buy DS a "big bro" shirt because i don't want it to remind me he can't wear it yet =(
Hello everyone..
Although DH and I are pretty new to the TTC world. I think of this a lot. I like the PP will probebly have hubby right there looking at the stick. I think I am more excited on how to tell our parents...
The first time, I was screaming and shaking and running all over the house and showed it to him. The 2nd time I texted him. The next time, hopefully he will be with me.
I did buy dd a personalized "I'm going to be a big sister" dress this last time and I may do something with that. We were going to have her wear it to tell family, but didn't get the chance to.
I don't think I could wait to do anything cute for my husband. I would be way too excited to wait
And he is always asking when it's that time.
But I did have a custom onesie made for my Grandma. It says "I love my Great Grandma." It's hard to find Great Grandma stuff. I can't wait to give that to her. It will be her first Great Grandchild and since my Grandpa passed away in June (cancer, way too young), everyone is excited for this kind of news to put a big smile on her face.

I've got a few ideas....one is to buy the "Future Red Sox Fan" shirt that has it on the belly and just start wearing it around the house one day and when he asks what it is tell him. The other, which will probably be the one because I'll be so excited is to buy the Little Red Sox Fan bib and show him it when he gets home from work or something, I don't think I'll be able to hold it in long!
For our family I saw a few videos online, one was at a family cookout, they are ready to pose for a picture, and the dad to be is taking it on video, and says "OK, everybody say "____'s pregnant!" and then they kind of flip out.
My Ovulation Chart
LOL
I'm beyond the point of being cutesy. I think I'll just be too overwhelmed with happiness to be creative. I think we'll do something creative for the parents instead.
He will be standing outside the door, so not much of a chance for surprising him....
I would have waiting longer to POAS last time, had be not made me do it sooner.
This made me cry!
How cute.. I may have to steal it as a way to tell MH large family with out hurting any feelings cause we told so and so first..
hahahahahaha!
We've decided to test when we're together so he will be there with me. If he isn't, he's still sleeping in bed (I usually wake up before him and I ALWAYS have to pee). I will wake him up ASAP
haha it rhymes!
Me too!! DH looked at me like "what is wrong with you??" lol. And I do think its a great way to tell everyone at once, I'd love to get everyone's reactions because they have been waiting for me to get pregnant for 2 years! Especially my mom, she'll freak!
This was the one I have seen a few times...

There are a few more on there too, love it!
This exactly, except he's a Redskins fan.
