Thanks for agreeing to help us plan our trip! We only have eight full days in Ireland and are trying to figure out our priorities. I would like a combination of history and outdoor activities (hiking, etc.). We plan on renting a car, but maybe not picking it up until we leave Dublin because of traffic and parking. I'd like to get a little bit off the beaten path and avoid the super-touristy places. A few questions I'd like to get your input on...
1. Should we spend two or three nights in Dublin? 2. Is it too much to try to see parts of the west coast and Belfast in those remaining days?
3. We're going to tour the Dingle Peninsula, but will probably bypass the Ring of Kerry. Do you agree with this approach?
4. Any thing we shouldn't miss, in your opinion?
Thanks so much for your input!

Hi
sorry late replying...busy at work!!!
Yes wait till your out of Dublin.....its sooooo busy and a pain to get out of!!!
1. That sounds all great, your not missing anything really, hmm lets see 8 days......id would say 2 nights in Dublin is probably lots, you can tour during the day and party at night
. Your probably back in Dublin at the end of the week for the flight back!
Its not too much to see the west or belfast, the driving is the main part, it takes about 4-5 hours to go from Dublin to Mayo (west) and about 2 hours to belfast from dublin. The west has such beautiful scenery!!! I live in the furthest point of the west, next stop New York!!
2. When your in kerry you will see if you have time for the Ring of Kerry, Dingle is beautiful, my Dad is from there!!
3. Try not to put too much on yourselves, all those are great spots to see so i think you will be fine with that!
I hope i was some help....i have to get back to work now
if you need anything else let me know!!
