Losing hope this cycle...

I'm 14 DPO and tested this morning... BFN. Still trying to hold on to the fact that there's a chance I could get a BFP in a few days. It's so hard to be positive and patient. I sure hope AF doesn't come. Stay away AF!! How do people do it?

Are you positive of your O date? Do you have a chart we could look at? There is a chance that you O'd later then 'normal' and are not actually 14DPO.

This. Are you charting on FF? That Bump ticker is worthless. Chances are, you've ovulated late. Keep taking a test once a week until AF shows. If she hasn't shown within 60 days, I'd call the doctor. Good luck!

How do you know you're 14dpo? You may have ovulated late and it's too soon to test.

That always bothers me, too. I always read it as loose, so "loosing hope this cycle" just sounds funny.

That always bothers me, too. I always read it as loose, so "loosing hope this cycle" just sounds funny.

I think I'm a bit of a grammar snob. I also get annoyed with wander vs wonder although I'm not sure how people mix those up.

I haven't temped. I will start this next cycle. I thought that OPK's were the way to go until reading all these posts. My OPK was positive on the 9th and we had sex the day before, on and after.... who knows? It's all part of the waiting game.

A +OPK means you'll probably O within 12-36 hours, so you may be only 12 or 13 dpo. Or you may not have actually Oed at all, since that can happen with OPKs.

Hopefully it's the first and you get a BFP in another day or two!

When you get a + OPK, you can actually ovulate a day or two later. I think the window is something like 36 hours. Check out my chart. You can see where I got a + but ovulation was confirmed a few days later.

So, your best bet as far as knowing when you O'd for sure, is to chart your BBT. It took me several cycles to get on-board the temping train. I am so mad at myself for not starting to temp sooner. GL!
