What happens to scars during pregnancy?

I had my appendix removed when I was young, and have a rather large scar on my lower right abdomen. Is it going to stretch oddly during my pregnancy?

It might, and it might get itchy.

I am not sure how low it is, but the scar I had from my first c-section wasn't affected at all by my second pregnancy.

None of my abdominal scars freaked out; my transplant scar widened a little bit, but nothing too dramatic. My tattoo is fine, too!

I had a tattoo removed on my lower abdomen that is now a scar. It hasn't been affected so far...

My appendix didn't get effected. It was never itchy either. My belly is growing higher, so it's not an issue. My c/s scar now is also low over where my belly is enlarging, so it's not changing either.

I have a small scar from an old belly button piercing and it got darker during pregnancy. =(

I had my appendix out, and I don't think the scar itself changed, but on the edge is where I got my first stretch mark. I think maybe the skin was already thin there or compromised or something??
