3D/4D uktrasounds

Im assuming all of you had gotten the pamphlets in the mail about the 3d/4d ultrasounds offered in Milford and Guilford. I had asked my doctor about it, and she was very rude and had said she disagrees with 3d 4d ultrasounds. She said that a lot of parents had abortions after seeing the baby because he/she didn't look the way they wanted .. or they had thought they saw some sort of abnormality on the screen. First, i would NEVER terminate a pregnancy. Second, i would NEVER NEVER terminate it this late, based on something i think i "saw" an abnormality without getting it checked by a doctor. A US tech from my practice was actually fired because she had her own little business on the side performing 3d 4d ultrasounds. My doctor made it such a big deal. It felt like she was comparing it to drinking and doing drugs during the pregnancy. So i had gone home and talked to a friend about it, she just happens to be 29 weeks pregnant, and she said it was ridiculous ! At her doctors in Naugatuck, they offer free 3ds as part of you being a patient. I had called the office and they do not do it for people that are not patients of theirs. Figures.

I was looking up these two places, but i would like more of a choice. Both of these places their prices are exactly the same, and id like to see if there is anything cheaper, that i don't have to change my doctor for.

Anyone else getting 3d/4d ultrasounds? Or know any places besides 'a tiny perspective'?

    DH and I are currently TTC. But, at my pre-conception check up, I noticed that my Dr's office in Middletown is currently offering 2D, 3D and 4D ultrasounds. I intend to have 1 although DH disagrees. He said the baby doesn't like it. Not sure where he heard that 1 from. But, I'm sure if they didn't like it, Drs would offer it.

    This one is located in Glastonbury CT (a bit of a drive for you) ..great & friendly people that run it and it's a cute little office!

    a storks studio in Orange , we just went on monday really nice guy he is a retired PA .Decent prices cheaper then  glastonbury , and I was very satisified !
