Please don't flame...I've seen baby penis' before and have seen nothing like this...Here's my question: I haven't seen an uncirc'd baby penis before and we didn't circ DS...is this why? I told my husband that it's because his foreskin is still intact which makes it look longer (we're talking 2 inches)...is this true? I feel so silly asking this! TIA!

To the others....Ahhh! I'm sorry if I offended any of you! I know it's a ridiculous question! It doesn't matter...I was just curious about the foreskin thing. My husband always asks if that's normal and I've just been telling him it's because it's uncirc'd...I'm certain he doesn't mind if it's big

Well, I won't but I can't guarantee that my husband won't. When we found out that we were having a boy on the ultrasound...my husband said, "My God! He has a huge penis!" The ultrasound tech said "That's his leg."

So my boy is also uncircumsized and he was being changed and my friend's 5 year old son was there. Anyway, the other little boy said "he has a huge penis." I thought it was funny. So, it's possible the foreskin does make it look longer, or it could just be coincidence.

I have never spent time on this board before--but I'm so intrigued by several of the posters on this particular board. They're QUEENS at making fun of others... don't feel bad. You are conscientious to at least be aware--and there are reasons as to why your son may have--um--larger genitals. My sister's son is 3, diagnosed with a hernia at several months old. His hernia was only noticed because he had one very small testicle. My sister asked her friends and finally her pediatrician. Most people might be embarrassed to ASK these types of questions, but sometimes, it's the only way... embarrassing or not. I would suggest asking your pediatrician... but if nothing's wrong, he's a lucky little dude!

Well the pedi who circ'd Asher told us that he had a bgger than normal penis. But not to get too happy for him, because the size of your infants penis has no bearing on how big he will be later on! So it really doesn't matter at all! I like to think of it as his "diaper area" and leave it at that.
