I've been having BH a lot today and noticed that LO is a little quieter than most days. Very quiet. I know that babies have active days and not so active days. Could it be that I am feeling her squirm less because of the BH and pressure I'm feeling?
She is more active when I have BH or contractions - I guess she doesn't like them and it feels like she is trying to kick/ punch her way out after every BH I have ever had.
yup- I got/get BH ALOT with both pregnancies- (and there is nothing wrong with that)- and my babies were always more quiet during them. If they weren't the BH are a lot more uncomfortable and sometimes hurt. So i am kinda happy they are more quiet during the BH's.
Thanks. I'm having some regular coke now and some sugar to see if I can get her to squirm around a little to ease my mind. I also moved my OB appointment from next week to tomorrow. My OB will do an internal then and determine where and why I'm getting all this insane pressure.
GL- my doctor has never been concerned about BHs ~ i usually just do the drink water and lie down for a bit and they ease up. I had them for about three hours yesterday.
I ended up at l&d yesterday due to non-movement. The RN told me to crunch ice because it is very loud to the baby and to use clippers or an electric razor close to my abdomen because the buzzing noise startles them. She said they have a tool that buzzes, can't remember what she called it, in l&d just for the really lazy, sleepy baby occasions! My little guy started moving as soon as they strapped the monitor to me - apparently he hates the doppler and the ultrasound wands!
