Anyone use gripe water?

Did it work for your DC?  When do you give it--actually Im not even sure how it works...is it like the gas drops and you squirt it into their mouth?  Thanks
Severe MFI resulting in IVF/ICSI #1 in Nov 2007. BFP!!
Our beautiful son was born July 2008.
2010: 2 IVF's,1 FET = 2 BFN's, 1 c/p :(
Feb 2011-Unmedicated FET= BFP!! DS #2 born Oct 2011!!.

    We usually use it when he is inconsolable, arching his back and won't nurse. It works very quickly most of the time.  You give it with a syringe...it's sticky so we drop it very slowly in his mouth to avoid a mess.  Good luck.

    Thanks--do you know if it is safe?  DS has had tummy issues from the beginning.  But since 5 weeks he is either completely fine and barely fusses or he is very irritable and has tummy issues.  He is like 'good' for a week and then has tummy issues for a week.  When he has tummy issues, he is fussy all day and his sleep habits completely change.

    gripe water is great, but some of them have charcoal in them..you don't want that! we use wellements. the first time we gave it to dd she threw it all up. but after that, it really helps! dd had really bad gas issues and she gets hiccups ALL THE TIME!
