On a Plane: Boulevard or Triumph Advanced?

Speaking of traveling with an infant and a toddler alone (from post earlier), this will be me in a couple of weeks.  My youngest will be almost 3 months and my oldest will be 18 months.  We've travelled with the oldest before a few times, but always as a lap child (and he has just 5 months the one time I did it alone).  

 He has his own seat this time and I'd like to put him in his carseat.  We own a Britax Boulevard and an Evenflo Truimph Advanced.  Has anyone used either one of these seats on a plane?  I know they are pretty big.  How did it fit?

 While we're here, it's a 3 hour flight.  Any suggestions/tips for me?

    I don't know about the triumph, but we flew with the boulevard one and it does fit, but it's really big. If the triumph is smaller, I'd go with that.

    Thank you for letting me know!  They are both big but at least I know the Britax will fit!
