Gift for new mom

My bff just had a baby (he's 1 week today) and she's having a pretty rough time.  He has club feet, had thigh-high casts put on yesterday and they were at the hopsital everyday over the weekend.  I wish there was more I could do, but I work FT and am 1 1/2 away.  Can you ladies think of anything I can send her, somethign cost-effective but like a "I'm thinking of you, he's totally worth it" kind of thing? Flowers are expensive and impersonal.

Help!  Thank you!!

    How about a new Mom care package filled with lotion, some bath stuff, maybe a neck pillow, etc... Something that can remind her to take time out for herself too.

    This would have been my suggestion. And throw in her favorite snack, or if she's a Starbucks junkie throw in a giftcard to feed her habit a little. Smile
