Anyone else started Christmas shopping?

I know it's only July, but we have already bought Lily some birthday (10/30) and Christmas presents. I like to get my shopping done early. Last year I had it all done before she was born because I knew I wouldn't be able to shop with a newborn. Anybody else starting early?

I always start early. I actually bought Ellie a Princess Tiana dress in February or March that we put away for Christmas, though that was a bit extreme even for me.

Since then I have gotten her a game that was cheap at TJ Maxx that was on my list anyway. I'm trying not to get too much, though, because shopping for Christmas this early drives my DH nuts.

Yes only because I have no clue what state I am going to be in for the holiday season. I've compiled my lists and slowly buying things as I see them on sale.

We have 6 nieces and 5 parents between the two of us...not to mention a few others. I started accumulating a few things at some after Christmas sales last year. I shop mostly on Good Friday because even with all the crowds...I really enjoy the shopping.

I have started, but not deliberately. After birthday shopping for K we realized we had purchased an obscene amount of things for her so we've put some aside to save for Christmas.

We started with Eli's last week. Most if not all of his will be done by Oct or early Nov. We will start on the rest of the family October timeframe. If I haven't bought something we need by Thanksgiving or even a week or so before, it will be bough online too. I hate being in a store with all the people who wait till the last minute and the lines and stores are out of everything... YIKES. If I had my druthers, we wouldn't even grocery shop in December!!!

DH and I were just talking about this today. We want to start soon....I would rather not be lugging an almost 3 year old through the mall at 8 mos pregnant! Actually this week's TRU ad sparked the conversation. They have Thomas trains on sale and I think Santa will be bringing a train table this year...... :-)

HA! I just bought a few Christmas things from Amazon tonight. They have some Melissa & Doug items 70% off! I've also picked up a couple Thomas the Train items I've seen on clearance...especially this past February when holiday stuff was 75% off at Sears

Yep, just bought Lil's first gift this week...a kitchen set. If I find a good deal, I can't resist. And since her birthday is less than two weeks after Christmas, we have to buy for that as well! I think I'll start putting my lists for other people together as well so I can start looking for deals.
