Our bed would be against the wall on my side, if not for the radiator. There is about a foot of space between the bed and the wall. The radiator is next to my head and I have a shelf above it. I keep my BBT, phone and some other stuff up there.
I reached for my BBT today at 6am and promptly knocked it off the shelf and down between the bed and the radiator. I shimmied down, kind of half off the bed and grabbed it. And then I lost my balance. My right leg slid under the bed and I was stuck. Trapped under the bed.
I let out this pathetic whimper/yelp. D jumped up and starts yanking on my arm. I said my leg is stuck! He got off the bed, moved the frame (heavy wood on carpet) and starts yanking again. No dice. He had to move the mattress before he could pull me out.
My legs are scratched but otherwise I am unscathed. Only me. My coworkers are horrifed and amused. Someone asked what would have happened if he wasn't there. I said I'd probably still be there. LOL

bwaaahahahahahahahahahaha
As soon as I read your title, I knew what happened :P I've fallen out of bed too many times to count due to dropping that damn thermometer. I've actually contemplated tying a string around it and stapling the other end to the shelf.
Me too. I drop my thermometer at least once a week. Either that or Gabe will take off with it and I forget to check and make sure its there before I go to sleep.
