I guess I'll start...
Annabelle has been army crawling for a few weeks now. She really wears herself out, which I love, because she now will finally nap. Yesterday I arrived home to a fussy baby, who wanted to be held the entire day. She was drooling all over the place. I hope that means that teeth are in her near future. We've been working on fingers foods, she seems to really love blueberries, mango, banana's, bread and puffs. Tonight we plan on trying peas. Yesterday we interviewed another daycare provider and Annabelle did so well. She played for several minutes with the toys and the kids and by the end of the hour visit she wanted provider to hold her. Keeping our fingers crossed that this may work. The first week of August she will have a trial run for 2 hours. She will only be going for two days until September and then ease into four days. We are hoping that by the fall we can be full time. Please keep us in your prayers. Mommy and Daddy are tried and miss our house.

Re: LO Updates (sorry I'm slacking!)
First of all I have huge news!! Ava's hair is finally long enough up top for a little ponytail!!
Ava: she is so awesome. talking more and more each day--one if her new words is "uh oh" and it sounds so cute with her litle voice.
She has been playing with her tea set lately and loves holding one of her cups and a little spoon and "stirring" the tea.
Jen - that all sounds very hopeful - I hope you have finally found a good fit.
For Ella - she peed on the potty last night for the first time - very, very exciting! I sat her on the potty last week when we were on vacation - she asked once and another time I asked her before we got in the tub. both times, she was happy about it, but mostly intersted in the toilet paper. Last night she walked into the bathroom before bed and asked for a bath and I told her no and then she spotted the potty ring and tried to put it on the potty. I took it a good sign and took off her clothes and diaper and she peed a little in the potty. Again - most of her excitement was over the toilet paper and washing her hands - but I'll take it!
Jen I am keeping my fingers crossed that this new day care will work out for you guys!I still can't believe that first woman was so unwilling to work with A to help her adjust.
Sean gets sillier every day. Every thing he does, he gives you this look like "was that funny? Did I make you laugh?". Saturday my mom came down and she gave him a taste of her mango Rita's ice. Good lord-she created a monster. He was hopping up and down in excitement with his mouth wide open. I've never seen him get so excited over anything.
Jen, I hope A's experience with this provider is much better.
John has been army crawling, pretty much anything with lights provides enough motivation for him to make his way over to investigate. His first tooth cut through last week, he's always been a chewer, but even more so now. He's been going through a mommy stage lately, whenever anyone is holding him and I'm near he leans towards me and reaches for me. I feel kind of bad for the person holding him (esp. DH), but a little happy at the same time that all he wants is his mommy
Making his food is going well, he loves sweet potato's, carrots, avocado, and he loves gnawing on bananas. Green beans gave him some uncomfortable gas, so we kind of avoid those. I need to introduce other green veggies, any suggestions?
Is he feeding himself at all, or are you still doing purees? Sean LOVED broccoli. I steamed it until it was really soft and then broke it into small pieces for him.
Well, I thought we were starting a good streak of Rebecca sleeping through the night but she got up at 2 a.m. and took 3 ounces before falling back asleep. Other than that she is doing great. Still only has two teeth and is in no rush to walk. She knows she can scoot faster than she can walk so she isn't in any rush to learn. I know she will try it eventually. She does walk around the coffee table so she knows the concept.
Kathryn-That's great! Keep up the good work.
Natalie- Reading your post put a huge smile on my face. I love that her hair is finally long enough to pull up. We are still working on the hair part. LOL
Ooh, I hope this one is a good match for A. and you guys, Jen!
Amelia is doing well. She's a lot of fun to be around. I had always heard things got better around 6 months, with them being more interactive and reactive. I would say from 3 months or so and on, she has been a delight. She loves blowing raspberries, laughing, smiling, puckering her lips and smacking them, licking her lips, "talking" to her Baby, watching our lips intently when we talk, and yelling out in some high pitch sound that we have no idea where it came from and then she laughs at us. She started noticing the dog at around 4 months and now watches him intently as well and will reach out and pet him, well pull his hair. She sits up very well unassisted and is starting to do more tripod sitting as well. She can roll all ways, responds and turns to our voices and at times, when we call her name, and also often imitates us when we stick out our tongue or say something, she will do the same. She is still sleeping well...about 11-12 hours at night and is now moving toward longer morning and afternoon naps instead of 4 short ones throughout the day. Eating about 6 oz./5x's day...No food yet...we are waiting until 6 months.
How about Peas?
Jen- I hope things work with this daycare- I'll be crossing my fingers!
Collin started cereals last week. He's not feeling it at all. I think I may move on to fruits and veggies.
He has also started pulling up to standing from sitting. The good news is he can't get up to sitting on his own yet so it looks like I have a little time left. He has been scooting too, but not really getting anywhere other than rolling.
Peas are a great option. Brendon loved peas and still loves them to this day.
Brendon is becoming more interested in the potty. He always wants to go into the bathroom. He is talking up a storm but is still shy around strangers. He loves saying hi and bye to people. Uh oh is also a favorite word of his. We're preparing for his 2nd birthday which is quickly approaching. He loves to imitate Cecilia in whatever she does. He still does not want to hold her in his lap. He does like to try and pick her up.
Cecilia is rolling all over the place and is even pulling herself forward using her hands. She keeps trying to crawl by sticking her knees underneath herself and launching forward. She loves to screech happily at the top of her lungs and she loves to give big smiles. She loves her jumperoo but prefers the playmat. She is starting to master sitting up on her own but still leans too far forward and doesn't like it. Sleeping pretty good. Once she's asleep, she's down for a good 10-12 hours. We've started cereal. We were going to wait under 5 months but she's still small due to all the movement so the pedi thought it was a good idea to start sooner rather than later.
They're both doing great and seem to really love each other. Cecilia seems to think that Brendon is the best person after Daddy
They get her biggest smiles just by standing in her line of vision.
I really hope things work out with the new daycare, Jen!
It seems like every day Aiden has a new phrase. Now when I ask him if he needs to use the potty he says "Nope, I'm good Mommy." We're teaching him to say excuse me if he bumps into someone or if someone is in his way. He'll go up to Sammy, nudge him lightly, and say "Scuse me Sammy, Scuse me." Cracks me up!
