You recommended a park to me (I think it was you!) for a med school families picnic that I want to organize. I thought I saved that post but I've looked and looked and can't find it and I don't think the search option on here works. Please tell me what it is again! I'm finally actually planning this. Thanks so much!

I think I recommended a couple:
MLK park, which is large, has the public pool, and an old-school shelter house and playground:

or a couple of smaller ones that each have very nice playgrounds and a shelter house that would be great for a smaller gathering. Not sure on the names but one is around 14th and Alabama and the other is around 20th and Alabama. I would recommend stopping by and checking them out!
