Brazilian, Charlie Chaplin? "hairstyle" non-clicky poll

It seems nothing is TMI here, which is awesome. DH and I were discussing "hairstyles" so now I'm curious.
1. Do you: a) trim b) shave c) wax d) laser e) au naturel? How about bald eagle, landing strip, Brazilian, Charlie Chaplin or any other topiary-like style?
2. Do you do it for you, DH, or both?
3. Does DH practice any manscaping?

Aaaaaaand .... go. Add more or less info if you want. Just seeing what's out there and maybe I'll surprise DH.

  • This frustrates me.  I have been dealing with "hair" issues since I was 13.  I've always been a landing strip kinda gal...but, every.single.time. I shave I get horrible horrible bumps on my bikini line and it looks NASTY!  I have tried everything within reason for a "young" girl along the way.  I have never gotten waxed down there, though.  I've considered it...and I've considered laser hair removal.  With one I'm afraid of the pain, and I'm not guaranteed to not get bumps.  With the other it's so expensive that I can't justify it.  I actually was so fed up last week I was going to go have a Brazilian done.  But, I chickened out.  I guess I will just never wear a bathing suit in public...and I'll just have to continue being self-conscious about my bikini line.  *sigh*

To answer your question, though...  I do it for me.  I HATE having a full bush.  DH does not do any manscaping.  I did trim his jungle down one time with scissors.  His pickle grew like half an inch!  *giggle snort*

    1. Do you: shave, bald eagle
    2. Do you do it for you, DH, or both? I shaved before I ever met DH, but I do it for him now just as much as I do it for me
    3. Does DH practice any manscaping? no!  with some encouraging, he'll trim every now and then

Anyone done a Brazilian before?  Seems like it would be nice to have, but how awkward is that?!

  • 1. I do a trim shave combo, but really want to get waxed.  I'm so chicken.

    2. I do it for me, but dh likes it too.

    3. He makes sure things don't get too wild.

Someone educate me please...what's a Charlie Chaplin?

  • 1. Brazilian. It really isn't that bad in terms of pain, but it is hard to let your hair grow out each month IMO.

    2. I started waxing for H, but I actually prefer a bit of a landing strip.

    3. Yes! We have this handy little tool that keeps everything tidy. I am not a fan of that flossing feeling while mid blow job!

  • 1. Do you: a) trim b) shave c) wax d) laser e) au naturel? Trim and shave: shave for hardwood floors, trim the rest.  Sometimes wax the bikini line.  How about bald eagle, landing strip, Brazilian, Charlie Chaplin or any other topiary-like style? Waxed for a landing strip ONCE.  *Might* do it again.2. Do you do it for you, DH, or both? I'll always do it myself.3. Does DH practice any manscaping? We are going on month two of YES!  He had a mess that he was embarrassed and I looked past.  Thank goodness he finally took care of it.  We are both much happier.
  •   1. shave-bald eagle 2. I've always shaved, but the hubby likes it too! 3. Yes, he does. Sometimes I have to remind him its time.   **For those who get bad razor burn...I use a gel that Noxema makes as soon as I get done shaving. I haven't gotten it since I started using it. I used to get it pretty bad. You can find it at Wal-Mart with the shaving cream! It works wonders!!

  • 1. A mixture depending on my mood.  It's a landing strip at the moment, but DH says it's a mohawk.  :)

    2. For both of us.  I did it for me before I ever met him, but he likes it too.

    3. He didn't used to, but when we were still dating I asked him to and he wouldn't.  We kind of fake argued about it and he said "I realize that if we ever break up I'll have to clean up to get back on the market."  So I ripped him a new one for being willing to clean up for a non-existant possible future girlfriend but not for the one he already had and supposedly loved.  He trimmed that night.
