how does respite reimbursement affect taxes?

We are applying for respite care and his EI coordinator said that we will have to file the reimbursement we get for respite care.  Does it count as income on taxes?  I am confused.  Any help would be great!  Thanks!!

Ask her to clarify if she meant taxes or something else. Sounds like maybe she means the payment for the respite care.

Our ARC has two forms of respite...programs that provide care in their own building and a reimbursement child care to parents (sure there is better terminology but that is the way I understand it). Maybe she means whatever program reimburses your monies to respite care.

Could be this child care would be moot under IRS anyway. If both parents work, isn't there a child care deduction?

Yeah- I used to work for the ARC respite program in MD.  This is a reimbursement program....where I pay the respite care provider and DDSN reimburses me.  But, she said that impacts my taxes.  I will ask her to clarify....just want to see if anyone has any experience with this. Thanks!
