Where to buy crib?

edited July 2021 in Ohio Babies

We really want a real wood (not particle board/laminate) crib that is convertible to toddler bed. We went to My Own Room on Dublin Rd., but want to look around some more before making a decision. Where else should we be looking?

Would any of the Amish furniture places build cribs?

We wanted solid wood as well. We were particularly interested in Romina which we couldn't find in Columbus.  If you have the time and resources I recommend heading to Berg's Baby and Teen in Cleveland.  It's mentioned in Baby Bargains as one of the top twenty in the nation and we were very please with their selection and staff.  We found exactly what we were looking for and it was even on sale.  Good Luck!

We just got the Sorelle brand Tuscany collection from Babies R Us. It is all solid wood. It looks great in the nursery. You can view it online @ their website as well as in the store. It's a beautiful oak cider color. The dressers both come pre-assembled since they are made with dovetail settings and are solid wood. They pieces are very heavy and will take 2 men to move the dressers. They were packaged extremely well and didn't have any flaws. We also ordered the rails for use when converting the bed later on down the road. We are very happy with the set. Just can't wait for the baby to arrive! Good luck  in you search!
