Second Trimester already!?!

It's crazy that I am already in the second trimester. It's flying by.

I had another ultrasound today.

Baby A Stats:

  • -Heart beat: 152bpm
  • -Length: 7.45 cm
  • -Weight: 86 grams (approx. 3oz.)
  • -Head to Rump Length measures 13w4d

 

Baby B Stats:

  • -Heart beat: 150bpm
  • -Length: 7.58cm
  • -Weight: 92 grams (approx 3 oz.)
  • -Head to Rump length measures 13w5d

There is a 7% discordance between the two babies. We only have to worry about TTTS (twin to twin transfusion) when there is a 20% discordance.

The tech again had trouble finding the membrane separating the two babies and was shocked at how thin it was. Baby B was laying on the membrane making it difficult to see.

Then I was able to watch Baby B punch Baby A over and over. It was quite comical. Already fighting in the womb. I have u/s pics that I plan to post to FB and our blog.

I'm still shocked I'm having twins. It's crazy.

    Here I am at 13 weeks. Sorry for bad quality- pic taken on phone in work restroom. It looks like I am holding my crotch as well. Ha!   image

    It is flying by for me too!  I bought new maternity jeans last weekend!  Now I am looking forward to an energy boost in the near future!
