How did you start rice cereal?

When did you start? how much did you give and when? what was your schedule for those feedings and how did you incorporate bottles with it?

    i started when DS was almost 4 months old.  I fed at dinner time.  fed him a 4 oz bottle then the cereal, in a bowl...1 tablespoon of cereal with 4-5 tablespoons fomula mixed in.  hes now up to 2-3 tablespoons cereal...

    When my LO was at his 4 month appointment the dr told me that it was ok  to start.  You give one tablespoon of cereal mixed with 2 oz of formula or BM. I make a whole bottle then take 2oz out and mix it with the cereal once a day.

    We started last weekend. DD was 4.5 months old. Our dr gave us the go-ahead at her 4 month checkup.

    We made a small amount per the box and gave her some until she was tired of it. Our dr suggested trying it at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, to get it used to those times. He suggested before bottle so she wouldn't already be full.
