Bought my first baby item!

I have a favorite lunch bag (I'm a school teacher so yes I bring lunches to work everyday). It's a reusable BUILT multicolored funky striped print lunch bag. Love it. Well today as I was waiting to meet my friend for lunch I found a BUILT Baby bib with the same print. It was so cute! I couldn't resist. I'll put it away for whenever I do get my BFP. I bought it, tucked it in my purse (no one knows we're TTC), and had a great lunch. Never done this before but it was too perfect. Maybe this was a sign and I'll get my BFP in two days. Haha if only it were that easy... Anyone else ever bought something baby related before BFP?

That is cute! And yes, I have done the same thing. I am a die hard ASU Sun Devil fan! One day, I found a "Little Devil" onsie at the ASU bookstore. I HAD to have it! It's tucked away for when the time is right.

I can't seem to find the urge to buy anything yet...I do keep buying baby gifts for all of my pregnant friends though and that is a blast!!

I hope to get something John Deere or Iowa State for my dh when the time comes that I get my BFP Big Smile

I only bought a onesie that says "I love my daddy" on it. I plan to tell MH that way once I get a BFP.

haha that's funny. I just know I'd never find this again and it'll be fun to remember the first thing i bought. too fun! Can't wait until I really am KU and I'll be baby shopping all the time!

That's cute. I don't thinks it silly, it will be something nice to hold on to help you keep positive thoughts. My DH-to-be (we're getting married on July 31st) birthday is monday and we are TTC next month. Maybe I'll getting him a little "I love my daddy" baby bib for his birthday. That's not silly, right?

I haven't. I've been temped to buy a cute outfit, but I don't want to jinx myself. The rational part of me knows it doesn't happen that way, and I'm not usually superstitious, but I am about this.

It had to have been a little before I got married, but I was shopping and saw a cute little yellow onsie with a pink butterfly. I couldn't resist. We don't even know when we'll get pregnant much less whether we'll have a little boy or girl or even find out beforehand. I still have it in one of my dresser drawers. I saw some cute green blankets the other day too. They may be the next baby items I can't resist.

I had this tought too although it hasn't stopped me. I'm not even TTC yet! (We are waiting until end of Sept.) BUT, I tell myself, well, I could use this for so-and-so's baby. . .seriously, who am I kidding?! Of course I am thinking of it for my future little one! Crossing fingers I am NOT jinxed!

Years ago before we were even married we were in Hot Topic and we bought a onesie that had a picture of Darth Vader and says " Who is your daddy". (DH is HUGE Star Wars Fan). I don't think DH remembers buying it, so I have been planning to use that when we eventually get our BFP.

I work at target and I was walking around the isles last year and they have my fav bedroom set (sheets, bumper, quilt, blanket, stuffed animal and some sticky things for the walls) for 90% off...and it's def. boy stuff....I bought it on a whim....thinking I would give it to someone, but it's so cute I had to keep it for myself. DH and I weren't even talking about starting TTC. I think I paid like 30 bucks for everything
