I got the results back from Ethan's allergy blood work. He's allergic to milk and egg whites. Guess I have a vegan child. If anyone has experience with both milk and egg allergy, please email me at mnaylor3 at gmail because I'd like to talk food/recipes.

Sad Sad!

Do you have a history of either type of allergy in your family?

We are going to get DS tested in a few months due to a topical reaction he's having to dairy. We don't have any history of it, so I'm hoping it will just go away. If not, I may be picking your brain soon!

Big hugs. I know how overwhelming it can all be at first. Just take one day at a time, and soon you will settle into a groove that your family can stick to. Education of extended family will be key.

Z is allergic to undercooked eggs, G was allergic to dairy. Fun stuff. Luckily he is young so hopefully he will have outgrown it in another year.

He has really bad eczema that flares up worse on occasion. He also gets a red face rash after eating some foods. With milk he would get the red face rash and vomit.

So it was something I requested the doctor to have done to narrow done exactly what he was allergic to.
