Glider help requested! Shermag glider from BRU? Nicer one from PB or... ?

Does anyone have the Shermag one from BRU? It's around $300?

DH and I are so torn on gliders... we go from:

1. we don't need one, let's use our money elsewhere...

2. Let's get get one that will last through 2 kids (like the Shermag from BRU) and then we'll toss it... (sell it, whatever...)

3. Let's buy a nice chair that will cost more (I don't know, maybe $800) but will last a lot longer and doesn't look so babyish...?

    we have a Best Chair.  The style is Sami.  We picked a color/fabric we can use in a different room at a later time.  I love it!  I think with the glider and ottoman it was under $600.

    We had one given to us that is nice because it was free but I'd say go with the best one you can afford and I'd get more of a chair that can be used later on. The one we have is not very comfortable an DH never sits in it because he is so tall.

    It was expensive, but was well worth the money! ?It is designed especially for BF and I have used it every night since DD was a week old. ?We figure we can use it for more than one kid no matter what the sex (we got it in chocolate) and then move it to another part of the house when we are done.

    We went with a neutral colored rock/recliner. We didn't want to spend a fortune on a chair that was babyish. We plan on using it in our living room when we no longer need it in DD's room.

    We got a dutalier from BRU for around $500 in a color we can use in another room later. It's super comfortable, but to be honest we don't really use it very often.

    We bought a Dutailer from BRU it was one of their more expensive ones that's extra wide for my fat a$$.  I love it and use it everyday.  I wouldn't want a different one.  I would suggest getting it on sale, using a completion coupan and open a BRU credit account.   I think that cut the price in 1/2 if not more if you want an expensive one.   Oh I got my completion coupon early because I changed my due date.

    We bought the shermag from BRU - cherry color.  It's great!  We don't use it a ton right now b/c we don't spend a lot of time in ds's room yet b/c he sleeps in his bassinet with us.  But my husband takes him in there to rock him sometimes and its really nice.  It retails for $299 I think, but we waited until there was a sale (15% off I think) and then opened a BRU card to get another 10% off so I think we only paid $250 or so.  Totally worth it b/c in my neck of the woods you can sell these on craigslist for at least 150.
