We're going to a good friend's baby's baptism in a couple hours. I have a blank card I'm writing to give with the gift we got. What should I write in it? I've never been to a baptism before and I'm not sure what the "usual wording" would be...also, we're Jewish and it is a Catholic baptism so I think it would be weird if it was too religious, even though it is a religious occasion.
Congratulations? Something else?
Thanks for your help!!
Re: Help - Baptism Card
We're Catholic and I promise they won't be judging what you write...just happy that you are celebrating with them. I would go with something simple like "May God Bless_____________ today and always."
"Congratulations on your special day" is more than enough then just sign it love your names.
"A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for"
