nursing bra & large chest...

Hey for all of you like myself with like a 40 D bra size, what kind of nursing bra did you get? I need support but everyone says don't get underwire.. All/Any advice would be GREAT!! THanks ladies!

Re: nursing bra & large chest...

  • Bravado nursing bras come highly recommended by most of us on this board with large chests.  They are a little on the pricey side though, but well worth it.

Right now I have one of their nursing tanks (awesome support, not like those silly "shelf bras") and one of their Original Nursing bras/Double Plus.

  • I second Bravado....just be careful if you order online from the US (I think they are also sold in boutiques), your credit card may get charged a currency conversion fee (they are in Canada), I learned this the hard way.  Be on the look out for online coupons, they come out with them frequently.  I also found a style I liked at target.

I love my Bravado bras!  Great support and I have a huge chest.

  • I am a 34 G right now. I need underwire. Nothing else is supportive enough. I get Anita bras from figleaves.com. The only bra that I have that is non underwire and still pretty supportive is one by Goddess. However, it makes them really pointy and oddly shaped. Bravados did not work for me. I still had a uni-boob with it. Maybe I should try another style of Bravado. Good Luck!
