I am going to STRANGLE a salesman...

He came to our house Monday morning at 7:45 am wanting to sell children's books.  I politely told him that 7:45 was too early and no thank you.  He showed up AGAIN Tuesday morning as we were leaving to go to the doctor at 8:15.  I told him "we are heading out.  NO thank you."

Today he shows up AGAIN.  I had a note on the door that says "Please don't knock, baby is sleeping" because I somehow knew he would be back.  He pounded on the door for a good 15 minutes.  I swear I'm going to call the cops on his @ss.

    I would buy one of those cheap signs that says "No Soliciting" and put it in your window - or even on your front door so he gets the hint!  That would piss me right off!!!!

    A threat to him should be enough. Politely show him the sign on the door that he ignored. Tell him you are not purchasing books from him. And that if he comes again you will be calling the police to report harassment.

    Rather than say "745 is too early" say "I'm not interested, plesae take my house of your route"
