We did the 3 day potty training starting this past Thursday. By the end of the third day (Saturday) I didn't think he was going to get it but by Sunday we did have the "it clicked" moment for those who are discouraged right now. He went to daycare yesterday and had only 1 pee accident but 2 poopy accidents.
I have heard that pooping takes longer to train. I think we have the peeing part down. I am not sure how to go about handling the pooping. I have read some posts that say not to make a big deal about the pooping accidents and eventually he'll start pooping in the potty too...which I guess is the route I am going to take.
Just curious if anyone had any suggestions.
Re: Poop Training Advice Needed
there is a TON of info and tips out there - just google it.
I am in the same boat.. DS is slow-going with the poop. The pee is good though. I am backing off and letting him take the lead. No pressure!!! I don't think I could poop under pressure, so I try to remember that.
