This morning I was driving Sophia to daycare, she was in the back eating her mini-pancake and asked me for her juice. I told her that she could get her juice when she finished her pancake.
Sophia: But I need my juice.
Mel: Then finish your pancake.
Sophia: But I am sick. I need my juice.
Mel: You are not sick, Sophia.
Sophia. Yes, I am sick. Watch. <fake cough> <fake cough>
Dude. She cracks me up. Those coughs sounded way to realistic, too. But she still had to finish her pancake before I gave her any more orange juice.
HAPPY HUMP DAY! I hope you all have wonderful days.
Re: Things kids say.... Cont'd... :)
LOL, she sounds like that new Target commercial in which the kids look like little adults who need their juice before they can get started in the mornings.
I can't wait to have these types of conversations with Elise. I miss this from elementary school kids. Middle/high kids have their minds on something else, lol.

My son will say "my tummy hurts, Im sick, I need a cookie" um yeah ok..
She's so cute!!!!
I posted this on my FB last week, but in case you are not my friend on there...
Zoe had brought me a pillow and blanket to lay down on the floor cause I said I was tired. So I said "Zoe, do you want to lay down and take a nap with mommy" Zoe says "Ummmm, nope. I have things to do!" LMAO!
