anyone use Seventh Generation vs Pampers sensitive diapers?

anyone have any good feedback on either? I am about to order from Amazon with the coupon. I really liked Pampers sensitive for newborns but now I need Size 1 and Size 2 and I found the Pampers Sensitive have a fragrance and not sure if that would cause a rash in LO. I have never tried the Seventh Generation.

My son was incredibly sensitive to everything and had a nearly constant diaper rash for a while.  We were using Pampers Sensitive diapers and wipes.  We switched to chlorine-free diapers and wipes and have had a very happy baby ever since.  We use both Seventh Generation and Earth's Best diapers, and I really like both.  The sizing is a little different than Pampers.  My baby was still in newborn Pampers, and the size one Earth's Best fit him about the same.  The Seventh Generation size one is a bit larger than Earth's Best, but I think they're still a touch smaller than Pampers size one.  Overall, I would recommend the SG diapers (and also EB).  I have had fewer issues with leaks compared to the Pampers, and they don't have all of the scents and added "stuff" of other diapers.

  • 7th gen leaked really bad for us.  i had a few samples and put ds in one then put him down for a nap.  he and his entire bed were saturated in 30 min.  this wasn't a 1 time occurance either.

  • I loved 7th gen with DD (no leaks ever), a friend had better luck with Earth's Best with her DS due to leaks

  • 7th generation didn't work too well for us, either. We had a lot of leaks, and they were really snug around DD's legs so she had chafing issues with them.

  • We love 7th Generation diapers.  We have had no leaks at all, but they do run a little bit smaller than Pampers.  LO is ready for size 2 in 7thG, but still in size one of Pampers.  I also like that I feel like they're good for the environment (not as good as cloth diapering), the best I can do.
