excited to be preggers!

we found out last week, and i am SO excited!! i was feeling a little weird, but i didn't think much of it because i usually have really intense PMS. decided to take a test, and it went positive right away. i couldn't believe it...my husband was laughing at my disbelief. after a few minutes resting on the sofa and a beef jerky snack, i went back out to get more tests. i got two more, but only took one of them because it turned positive right away too. it's a great feeling after only trying for three months. the weirdest thing was that when i was purchasing the first test, the lady at walgreen's that was ringing me up looked at the box, looked back at me and said that  i didn't need that test...i thought she was going to lecture me because i look much younger than i am...instead, she smiled and said "it's a yes!" i couldn't help but wonder how the heck she could even know? it is sooo early, it's not like there are signs. i stressed all the way home until i took test number one. my husband, who is usually asleep when i get home from work (i'm in retail so work days & nights) was wide awake when i arrived. i greeted him and discreetly went into the bathroom with the test because i didn't want to make a big deal of it just yet. especially after how sad i was the previous month when my period came...but the results were out and i just stood in the bathroom staring at the pee stick. this is going to be lots of fun and everyone is jazzed out of their minds for us. everyone always says how i was "born a mother." i can't wait to be one for real.
