Hump Day...how 'bout a PIP??

Anyone remember these??  I used to love to peel them off the plastic backing and re-roll them into smaller pieces before shoving them into my mouth!  <piglet>

large rectangular caramel pop. It isn?t the softest caramel candy, but it is chewy enough to successfully get stuck in your teeth. LOL!

  • Or Sugar Babies....if you didn?t think the Sugar Daddy had enough sugar, the Sugar Babies were birthed with an extra coat of candy to make them softer...like jelly beans.

You know they have these in 100 calorie options now. They are single wrapped (not double) and they are a little 'lighter' than the original.  Not as yummy either but still good.

  • Does anyone remember the ice cream that you would get from the ice cream man that was an orange colored ice cream (a sherbert, maybe?  but waaay creamier) and it was in a clear plastic cone and in the bottom tip of the cone was a gumball.  I cannot for the life of me remember the name of that ice cream!!  And I cannot find a picture.  My BFF and I used to get that all the time and b/c we wanted the gum.  The disgusting (flavor that lasts a second and never makes good bubbles) gum.

YES!!!  I was SO addicted to these as a kid.  On our way to CCD class (Catholic "Sunday school" but on weekday afternoons), we would all stop in Jim's Variety Store and I would buy a hundred or so (penny a piece as well) and then proceed to have a humongous sugar high during class.  I'm sure the cashier was all too happy to have to count them all out (and yes, in a paper bag too)!!!
