Hey!
Been awhile. Just thought I'd pop in and say hello.
Things are good! DD is getting big. Six months old and is happy, healthy, and about as good of a little baby girl as I could ever hope for. Sleeps thru the night. Sitting up. Almost crawling...she's growing up so fast. I'm just loving being a mother.
I'm busy. Work got insanely busy. I am hiring and doubling my team and with DD, I'm just trying to figure out that working mom balance. It's all good tho and I seem to be finding a balance.
Miracle of all miracles, I don't have any drama to update you with. Life has gotten very peaceful, quiet and happy. Dare I say....my life is incredibly NORMAL again?
SD appears to be growing up - she has her moments still but not like before. Admitted to having borderline personality disorder and is getting help for it. She's still in college and doing pretty good. She had 3.4 GPA. I'm very proud of her (as is DH of course) and we continue to work on and develop our relationship. We are far from being close to each other, but we have a mutual respect again and we are good to each other.
SS seems to be doing okay too. Not great, but not bad. Just glad there is no drama there too.
DH's older two daughters are doing really well too. Short story there: their ever developing relationship with DH is going extremely well - better than we could ever ask for - and we all plan to meet up and get all the kids together this spring.
Life is really, really good. DH and I are doing well and he adores DD. He's such a good father and we're having fun with her in our lives. I have absolutely no complaints! It's nice to have peace and order back in my life.
Kind of weird when I think about it, how chaotic and out of control things were three years ago...and where I'm at now. What a contrast. It's kind of hard to believe. It took some time to get here, but life really did a 180 for the better.

I'm so glad things are working out for you and that you're enjoying DD. I'm glad things are "normal" - it's as it should be. Good to hear your S-kids are doing better too!
I will. I've taken hundreds (if not thousands) of her. She's so fun to photograph. I have some cutie pics I'll share once I get a minute to think and remember how to post them here.
