Sweet....think I'm out this cycle due to DH's travel...

Once again, his job sucks for TTC.  He is gone until Saturday (CD13) and just found out he will have to leave again Sunday night.  So we may be able to do it on CD13 (same day as the ultrasound) but that is it.  I've asked EVERYONE to babysit on Saturday to head up to the RE to freeze some stuff.....but both of my parents are working (they only work one weekend a month and this is it).

UGH!!!!!

    I'm sorry.  I was terrified I was going to be out of town for our IUI this cycle and the timing worked out really well and we did it right after I got back. 

    Could you just take you DC with you to the RE?  Maybe you can go take him to a nearby park or something while your DH freezes his sperm?

    I'm sorry. I would babysit if I could. 

    We will most likely be at a wedding if I cycle th is month. Bleh

    No high school aged neighbors who could sit?  This sucks, so sorry!

    Thanks all - part of the problem is that my appointment is at 8:30, DH lands at 7:30, so I have to leave the house at 5:30am to go get him and then head to my appointment.  There are only certain people who will come to your house at 5:30am to watch your kids :-).

    I may pack them up and do what someone suggested - I can watch them while DH gives a sample. I'm nervous about the cost of that, etc, but I'll call today to get the details.

    I'd take a family trip to the clinic and schedule DH's appointment around your LO's naptime.  If you drive around the area, odd are, your LO will fall asleep, and you can sit in the car and relax while listening to the radio. 

    That's what I would do at least.

    If my IUI falls on a weekend, my plan is for DH to do his thing while I sit in the car with DD.  Then we'll switch.  The nurse. told me that we both do not need to be there at the same time for any point of the day.

    Thanks - I will try that - doesn't help that the clinic is over an hour from our house, but it's worth it.  He will be away next cycle too so I may try this cycle and then take a break until things settle down a bit.
