  Just wanted to say I LOVE the name Gabriel for a boy! But DH has already vetoed it, he says it's too feminine. I also love the nickname Gabe. (sigh)

  @ MrsRoy - thank you. I also worried about the name being too feminine, but the nickname Gabe kinda changes that IMO.

  The spelling is not a typo.....that is actually another concern I have. DH, my sister and my mother all prefer the spelling Isabele, although I have tried to persuade them to Isabel. ::sigh::

  You choose the spelling ... not your sister and mother.

  The only spellings that I think look "right" are Isabelle or Isabel, definitely not Isabele.

  I'm not a fan of any of the middle names you have listed, but if they are family names, I would just choose the one after the family member who you would want to honor most.

  I think your vote should get much more consideration than your mother or sister's vote.

  I would go with Isabel or Isabelle. Isabele just looks like a typo to me.

  definitely spelled Isabel or Isabelle.  Your mother/sister do not get to spell your childs name (incorrectly at that).

  We just named our DD Isabel Amelia, so I'm obviously biased!

  And I agree with pp--don't let your family sway you on the spelling. Isabele just looks odd and she will constantly be correcting the spelling.

  Totally agree here. Im sorry It shouldnt matter IMHO what other people WANT your childs name to be, YOU decide....your the parent.
