What you ladies up to?

I'm reading the news and munching on popcorn...which I'm throwing away right now because I don't need these carbs! Feelin less stressed now that I found a pretty good in home daycare for DD. I go back to work Aug 2. What are you doing/thinking at the moment?

Re: What you ladies up to?

  • I'm eating a chocolate pudding pop and thinking about how its not going to help my current weight loss stand still. ย Also DS fell asleep in his swing while I was eating dinner and now I'm debating waking him so he can go to bed at his normal time or letting him sleep so DH can have some time with him once he gets home from work.

  • I'm thinking about how I am procrastinating the child care search, and how to get my child to sleep without an hour of bouncing, rocking, shushing, and swaying. Glad you found daycare for Lil;-) Are you going to have her start a week before you go back to test the waters?

  • Ahhh, I know how you feel! I walked into Lilli's room to check on her and I caught a faint odor of poopy. So I checked her diaper and I HAD to change it. She's still asleep thankfully...but I've never had to do that before!
  • Hell no Jaime, I don't want to cry before I have to! Sophie's fussiness hasn't gotten any better? What kind of daycare you looking for? And when do you go back to work? It's taken me about a month of interviews until I finally clicked with someone. So frustrating!
  • She stayed asleep while you changed the poopy?

  • YES LOLOLOL!

I have an EASY child...which is why my next one will be HELL!!! I'm sure even labor will be the death of me with the next one!

  • Her fussiness HAS gotten better yes, but she still doesnt tolerate being put down in anything while she is awake. I think I just have to wait it out until she is ready but hopeful that will be soon. Everyone says you cant spoil a baby this young so hopefully all the rocking and bouncing I do won't become habit forming. Im back to work after Labor Day, so i better get crackin on the search. I am looking for a nanny or an in home child care with a few children. I am in denial about the whole thing, I hate thinking about it. I miss the adult interaction, but hate to leave Sophie:-( You too?

  • I am nursing Mathieu and thinking how exciting it is that I get to marry my DF earlier than expected! I am super proud and excited for him for joining the Air Force and I am super pissed that our parents suck and aren't being supportive about it at all! Man I am a huge bundle of emotions aren't I...

  • I WAS watching my recording of NJ housewives until DH came downstairs and changed the channel to the dodger game. I just ordered chicken teriyaki from the burger joint on the corner and I'm about to go pick it up. I wanted to make potato tacos but I was too lazy. Lol

  • @Jamie...I've already cried about Ithe whole daycare thing. Yup, I found an in home day care, REALLY nice lady...she talks to d@mn much but we clicked and I feel comfortable with her. It's gonna suck!

@KDM, I saw your previous post...congrats on your upcoming wedding! You must be so excitedย Big Smile I'm an Army wife, with un-supportive parents (mine, not his) it's a great thing...you meet some wonderful people along the way. Our DD's Godparents are actually old Army friends that we still visit a few times a year and talk to almost on a nightly basis :)
