Circumcision with Plastibell ring

A few questions...

About how long did it take to fall off?

Did it come completely off or did it disconnect at some part and still stay connected to other parts of the penis?

We were told to (once off) to gently pull the skin back to prevent it from migrating back up over the head... this sounds like pure pain... explain your "method" to me.

Oh, and I'll get a birth story out before my kid turns 10.

    both boys had the plastibell. we never had to pull the skin back, nor did they tell us to. we were just told to keep it clean.

    it usually fell off at about the same time at the belly button. they would hang off for about a day before completely falling off. i let it do its thing

    Don't know about the Pastibell thing, but the doctor did say to push back gently and clean. It is easier once you can give them a bath because the skin seems to be easier to move. TMI, sorry.

    D had one too.. not that long ago either.. His fell off after about 7 days... it hung by like a thread for a day or so.. but  I let it completely fall off on its own...

    yes, my pedi told me to pull the skin back afterit fell off for cleaning, even at diaper changes b/c it forms a sticky white substance from his urine and will become like glue and painful at that point.. so just pull the skin back occasinally and wipe it gently.. and wash it at bathtime.. =) that's what i do...
