We are going in for Max's 2nd set of ear tubes in just under a year, I was hoping we would be in the 80% of kids that only need one set. They might also take his adenoids as well.
Last night and this morning I thought we might have to cancel. He was on a low dose of AntiB's and I had ran out of his probiotics on Saturday night and Monday night we hit a big wall. He was leaking very small but super acid poops every 5-10 minutes. He was in so much pain. Some times the poop would not even get on the diaper, but it was causing (for lack of a better word) Major Azz Fire !!! Finally at 3:30am I ran to the store and bought an enema in hopes to clear some of the acid poop out. It helped but took until this afternoon to really get the crying to stop.
His GI issues make taking AntiB's hard, but it's been a long while since we had this bad of an issue.
If they say we should be on antiB after the surgery I am gonna have to talk to them about declining. His butt can't take it.
Re: Very Minor Surgery Tomorrow
Surgery went great, quick and easy. they did his tubes and took the adenoids. He was freaking in recovery, but that is kinda normal. He wakes early and then is so high from the anaesthesia that he wiggs outs. He did the same thing last time.
but a lil while later he was better and even wanted to eat!!! (he is a poor eater)
They did not give him any antiB to take and will not unless his cultures come back bad, so that is good!
