1st Appt Went Great!

Three hours later, I'm here to tell about it!  Our ultrasound was wonderful.  Everything measured good, and we could see everything including the heart beating!  We got to hear it, and it was beating at 150.  It was so neat, because last time....we saw nothing.  So to go in and actually have this experience was wonderful. 

I then had my exam with my OB, and we sat in his office and talked.  I told him the prenatal vitamins were insane to take.  I showed him what the nurse gave me and how she told me they were the best of the best.  He said just take the generic stuff I was taking, because they're pretty much all the same, but I need to take some folic acid on top of it.  No big deal.

My OB was very excited for me.  He said everything looked perfect, and I should not be worrying. 

Oh and he gave me more Zofran.  My life saver right now.

    Super news! Congratulations! The whole heartbeat thing is an amazing experience. I didn't realize how much I had been holding my breath for that part. I'm excited to know you got to learn how many bpm it is- I didn't yet but my u/s was yesterday and I"m only 6 1/2 weeks. Next appt in 2 weeks so hopefully I can learn something then. How do they measure the bpm?
